On behalf of the Program Committee and the Technical Program Committee, I am very pleased to welcome you to the 2012 International
Conference on Signals and Electronic Systems, ICSES 2012. This conference, which has been organized in Poland since 2000, has been preceded by 22
annual national conferences. Each previous ICSES conference has brought the international scientific community together and proved to be a great
opportunity to report and discuss new theoretical and practical results in signal processing as well as in circuits and electronic systems. I strongly
believe that ICSES 2012 will resemble that success and I hope that participants will enjoy the plenary and regular session. The conference is organized
in only two parallel tracks with exclusively oral sessions. This conference program gives a good opportunity to present and discuss the advancements in
the relevant areas.
The technical program of ICSES 2012 comprises seventy three papers carefully selected among submissions that that all got three reviews each. It is
worth to mention that ICSES 2012 has clear international dimension as the authors of the accepted contributions work in twenty four countries.
Acknowledgements and appreciation are due to all contributors who submitted their proposals for review to ICSES 2012. I would also like to thank the
members of the Program Committee and all the reviewers for offering their time in reviewing the submitted papers. I want to thank all the speakers,
the session chairmen, and the participants for their efforts towards a successful scientific event. Last but not least, I would like to express my
deepest appreciation to our host Professor Jan Zarzycki, the Dean of the Faculty of Electronics of Wrocław University of Technology, Professor Ryszard
Makowski and the whole Organizing Committee, and all those who helped in the organization of the Conference.
We hope that you will be enjoying also the symposium venue located on Ostrów Tumski, the historical quartier of Wrocław, the city of great historical
monuments as well as of dynamic economy, and the city of brilliant university life.
On behalf of the Program Committee and the Technical Program Committee, I wish you a very fruitful conference and an enjoyable stay in Wrocław.
